Thursday Morning Update 6:00am – Word of the Day is ICY

January 19, 2012

Everett

Ice doesn’t care if you have four-wheel drive, how much experience you have or if your boss is going to be mad at you. If you don’t have to be on the road, stay off. You can thank us later. We’re already getting reports of multiple spin outs in the Everett area. At 24 degrees in south Everett this stuff is going to stick around for a while.

All Everett and Mukilteo Schools closed as is Everett Community College.

Scattered power outages are coming and going as tree limbs break off and pull down power lines. PUD reporting line 425-783-1001.
