Steve Miller Band Plays at Everett Boeing Plant This Afternoon

UPDATE 4:51PM Boeing has uploaded another photo of the Steve Miller Band concert and says 7000 employees were there. Here’s a link.

Remember when there was going to be a big celebration when Cargolux took delivery of the first 747-8 and then the party was cancelled? As part of the planned celebration there was going to be a surprise musical guest. Well, Boeing made good on the surprise guest as Steve Miller played for the folks on the 747-8 line this afternoon. Boeing confirmed that Miller played on their Twitter account but have not yet provided any other information. (except for the above picture also from Boeing’s Twitter account)
