Everett Police waiting outside trailer for search warrant in suspicious death

The Everett Police Dept. Major Crime Squad was called out to the Mobile Country Club at 1415 84th street SE shortly after 11:30 this morning. According to Everett Police Sgt. Robert Goetz, an elderly woman’s relatives went to visit her today at her trailer. Upon entering they found the woman deceased and called 9-1-1. Patrol units arrived and called the major crime squad. Goetz tells me they are currently waiting on a search warrant to check the interior and determine if this was from natural causes or a homicide. I did notice while I was there that both the Everett Police Chief and the Deputy Chief visited the crime scene. That’s not something I usually see at these types of police calls. It will be up to the Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause and classification of death once Everett Police have been able to search the trailer.
