Everett Shooting Victim was from Mt. Vernon

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office released the name of the man shot to death early Tuesday morning on 75th Street SE. He was identified as 30 year old Michael Alan Carter from Mt. Vernon WA. The Medical Examiner said the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds to the head and trunk and classified the death as a homicide. No word yet on whether charges will be brought against the shooter as police are still working out what happened.
