Charlie Sheen’s $600 per Minute Everett Payday and Other Updates From the Week It Was in Everett, Washington

Charlie Sheen was reportedly paid only $600 a minute for the 2 hours he spent on the Comcast Arena Everett stage Tuesday Night. That’s a far cry from the $1600 a minute he would have been paid had the show sold out. Still not a bad pay check ($72,000.00) for two hours work. Word is he’s now taking the show to Australia, Europe and Asia.

All of the incumbents on the ballot in Snohomish County-wide races are re-upping for another term. We know that Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon is going to be challenged by Mike Hope but who will challenge Snohomish County Council members Brian Sullivan in district 2 and Stephanie Wright in district 3?
How about the opponents for Sheriff John Lovick, Treasurer Kirke Sievers, Auditor Carolyn Weikel, Assessor Cindy Portmann, Clerk Sonya Kraski and Superior Court Judge Richard Okrent? Filing by mail begins May 20th with in person filing on June 6th. You have until June 10th to toss your hat in the ring.

Looks like it will be country music coming to AM 1520 on the radio dial when the Skotdal brothers sign on KKXA at AM 1520 this summer. The station is licensed to Snohomish but the studios will be co-located with KRKO’s in downtown Everett.
