The City of Everett is holding a work party this Saturday to clean up its newest park at the corner of Madison and Morgan Road in South Everett. Here’s the information from the city…
Volunteers from the View Ridge/Madison and Evergreen neighborhoods are “digging” the idea that they are making a positive difference where they live. Working together with the City of Everett Parks & Recreation Department, they will remove invasive blackberry plants and perform a “clean sweep” of the City’s newest parcel acquired to be turned into a park, at 528 Madison Avenue at the corner of Madison Street and Morgan Road. The work party will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 2 – rain or shine. Tools, equipment and refreshments will be provided. For more information, please call Joan Blacker, neighborhood work party coordinator, at 425-355-8454, or Dennis Dudder, Chair of Madison/View Ridge Neighborhood Association, or Jeff Price, Everett Parks and Recreation, at 425-257-7314.
