Got this word from Comcast Arena and the Washington Stealth…The Washington Stealth and Northwest Harvest are teaming up in the fight against hunger with a pair of food drives on March 23 and 25.
Members of the Stealth organization will join Northwest Harvest volunteers for a curbside food drive in front of the Comcast Arena at Everett on Broadway Avenue, right outside the Comcast Community Ice Rink doors. They will be collecting food, as well as monetary donations, and individuals who donate will receive a ticket voucher for the game on Friday against the Boston Blazers. The voucher must be redeemed at the Stealth front office by 12 pm on March 25.
At the game on Friday, the Stealth will celebrate northwest heritage and host a second food drive, with the proceeds again going to Northwest Harvest. Northwest Harvest will also be raffling off Stealth merchandise and experience packages during the game with all the proceeds of the raffle helping to feed Washingtonians in need.
