Everett Salary Commission Update: Oops, Can’t Have Relatives on the Commission

It looks like the Everett City Council will have to find a new appointee for the Independent Salary Review Commission. Apparently one of the people recently appointed is a relative of a City Council member. With the commission’s next meeting set for Monday at Noon, and the City Council not able to appoint someone until next Wednesday, it looks like there will be an empty place at the table. If you want to attend the meeting, it’s next Monday, 12Noon, in the 8th Floor meeting room at the Wall Street Building (2930 Wetmore). If you want to fill the vacant seat on the salary commission, you’d better hurry and contact the Everett City Council.
