A woman had her truck stolen at gunpoint on Hwy 529 at Ebey Slough Monday morning

A scary time for a woman this morning as a man hijacked her truck on Hwy 529 between Everett and Marysville. Here is what is known so far from Lt. Kathi Lang at the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office…

North of Everett on SR 529 at Ebey Slough.

Today at about 7:00 AM, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle stolen at gun point. The stolen vehicle was a white Chevy Silverado. An attempt to locate on the vehicle and the suspect, (a White or light skinned Hispanic male, early 20’s, thin build, armed with a revolver) was broadcasted.

The vehicle was located unoccupied at 8:36 AM in the 4900 block of 67 St. NE, in the city of Marysville. A K-9 track was initiated, but the suspect was not located. We have information the suspect is no longer in the area.

Marysville Middle School and Liberty Elementary School were in lockdown as a precautionary measure. The lockdown has been lifted.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and Marysville Police Department are continuing the investigation.
