UW Husky Football Coming to Everett

KRKO radio drops WSU and picks up UW Husky Football and Basketball starting September 3rd

KRKO Radio drops WSU Cougar Football broadcasts in favor of University of Washington… While the WSU Cougars may be coming to Everett via Everett Community College, the University of Washington Husky Men’s Football and Basketball radio broadcasts will be coming to Everett’s KRKO radio AM 1380, beginning September 3rd. While the games will still air on the Husky flagship station, KJR 950am, KRKO in Everett has become an affiliate of the IMG College radio network which has the rights to Husky Football and Basketball broadcasts. KRKO General Manager Andy Skotdal told me he’s thrilled that the station’s new 50,000 watt upgrade will be able to send the Husky broadcasts clearly throughout Everett and the north sound.  Skotdal says the WSU Cougar Games this season will now be heard on AM 770 KTTH.
