Meet the big guy in the red suit Thursday evening

The City of Everett is holding its annual Wintertide celebration at the new City Plaza in downtown Everett Thursday afternoon. Located at 2710 Wetmore, City Plaza is just getting its finishing touches and this will be its first official event. From 4pm – 7pm the city will present lots of family events and activities. Wintertide will also serve as a collection point for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Drive. Here’s a schedule…

4-6 p.m.
Craft projects and face painting for kids
Holiday photo booth
Caroling and toasty bonfire on the plaza
Hot apple cider, cocoa and cookies

6 p.m.
Tree lighting and visit from Santa

6:30 p.m.
