March is Red Cross Month

My Everett News has been asked to pass this message along from the Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross. We do so happily…

In this challenging time, Klein Honda of Everett partners with the American Red Cross of Snohomish County during Red Cross Month.  Now through March 31, Klein Honda will donate $100 per vehicle sold  to the American Red Cross of Snohomish County.

EVERETT, WA In honor of Red Cross Month in March, Klein Honda, Everett’s leading Honda dealership will donate $100 per vehicle sold to the American Red Cross through March 31. Last year, Klein Honda raised $18,100 dollars which was donated to the Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross and has set a goal of $20,000 for March 2012.

Each year the President of the United States proclaims March “Red Cross Month.” The American Red Cross uses this opportunity to promote its services to the American public and for fund-raising.

The need this year is dramatized by enormous destruction caused by recent tornadoes in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky and the Red Cross response.

Says Steven Klein of Klein Honda: “The American Red Cross plays a major role in aiding communities and citizens of the world during times of great need, and it is an honor to support their cause.”

“Red Cross Month is a great time for people to support our mission,” said Executive Director Chuck Morrison. “We welcome and greatly value Klein Honda’s support in honor of Red Cross Month. Their kindness will enable us to continue our work.”

On March 31, the organization’s Emergency Response vehicle will visit the dealership handing out goodies to customers. To schedule a test drive for a chance to contribute to the campaign, please call 800.308.6545.
