Endangered Everett Baby Found in Apartment on W. Casino Road

The baby has been located and is safe.

Good news from Everett Police. Lt. John DeRousse confirms that the missing baby has been found safe in an apartment on West Casino Road. The infant is being check out by Everett Fire Department medics. No other details are available at this time.

Everett Police Update 2:30PM

Everett Police have cancelled an Amber Alert regarding a newborn baby believed to be in grave danger. The child has been located alive and is being treated medically. The child appears to be in good health.

At 9:00 p.m. on February 13, 2014, the Everett Police Department issued an Amber Alert to locate 31 year-old Roshell Marie Turner who gave birth on January 27th. Child Protective Services, a division of the Department of Social and Health Services, believed the newborn was in grave danger and needed immediate medical attention which was not provided.

On February 14, 2014, just after 1:00 p.m. Everett officers located Roshell and her child at an apartment in the 100 block of West Casino Road. The baby was examined by the Everett Fire Department and transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. Roshell was taken to the Everett Police Department, where she will be interviewed about the child and the details surrounding its birth.
