The Everett Silvertips won Game 5 against the Vancouver Giants 5 to 0 on Saturday, moving them into the Western Hockey League (WHL) conference semifinals.

The Silvertips beat the Vancouver Giants in Game 5 after losing the first game 4 to 6, then going on to win four straight games.

This series was an opportunity to right the wrong that happened in 2022 when the top-seeded Silvertips lost to Vancouver in round one in 2022.

Everett allowed the fewest goals of any team in the 1st Round. Despite giving up 6 goals in the first game, they held Vancouver to only 3 goals over the next four games.

Silvertips goaltender, Tyler Palmer, tallied a 4-0-0-0 record, and only 1.64 goals-against average, with a .937 save percentage.

This is first time Everett has moved on to the Semifinals since 2019.

The Silvertips will play their first game against Portland Winterhawks in the Semifinals on April 12th in Portland. The Winterhawks won all four of their games against the Victoria Royals in Round One.

The 2nd game will be April 13th in Portland, then the next two will be in Everett, on April 15th and 19th.
