A Cessna 337 Skymaster plane, with only a pilot on board, had a emergency landing at 10:19 a.m. PDT on the main runway of Paine Field.
The pilot declared an emergency due to issues with the aircraft’s rear landing gear.
The pilot was not injured, but the plane did take some damage on the hard landing. Paine Field Fire removed the aircraft from the runway and cleaned up of the runway took about an hour.
