Save the date to embrace your inner-geek as the first-ever GeekFest West takes place this summer in Downtown Everett.
GeekFest West is founded by local passionate geeks who wanted to create an inclusive and unforgettable experience for fellow geeks. Their mission is simple: to celebrate geek culture, connect fans, and spread joy throughout the Northwest.
GeekFest West will take place July 19 to July 21, 2024 in Downtown Everett
Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin had this to say about the new event:
“I’m thrilled Everett will be hosting the first-ever GeekFest West! Large events like this give us the opportunity to introduce thousands of people to everything Everett has to offer – like our historic downtown, beautiful waterfront, and many unique bars and restaurants – while also providing fun and entertainment to our locals.”
Mayor Franklin also adds, “Nathan and the entire GeekFest team have fully embraced Everett, collaborating seamlessly with our staff and other essential partners to transform our downtown into a haven for geek culture. I can’t wait to welcome everyone this summer!”
The event is locally owned and operated. Organizer Nathan Mumm proudly states:
“It is so different from any other Geek Convention as we have three major events happening all at once. We have worked with the city of Everett to bring a Street Fair, Exhibit Hall, and Film Festival, all happening simultaneously.”

Catch the first GeekFest Film Festival, a cinematic journey through the realms of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and fandom-related short films. Curated by the brilliant minds behind 48 Hours Films, this film fest promises thrills, chills, and intergalactic spills!
