Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens, nestled within the picturesque confines of Legion Park at 145 Alverson Blvd, is once again set to transform into a mesmerizing winter wonderland this December.

Wintertide Lights, a highly anticipated annual event, invites the community to experience the magic of the season through an enchanting display of lights and engaging activities.
Event Details:
• Date and Time: December 1-31, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Venue: Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens in Legion Park, 145 Alverson Blvd, Everett

This free event promises an enchanting walk in the Arboretum, with volunteers going the extra mile to illuminate trees, bushes, and pathways. Each year it evolves. This year, the spotlight is on luminaries, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.

Renee Greenleaf, Chair of Wintertide Lights, shares her enthusiasm: “Wintertide Lights began in 2020 as a response to the pandemic, embodying our mission to be inspirational, educational, and accessible. Every year, we strive to exceed expectations, continually adapting to the changing landscape of nature. This year, our dedicated volunteers have surpassed themselves, adorning more trees, bushes, and pathways with radiant lights.”

This year’s event will include a gazebo luminary installation crafted by artist Cindy Morris, a unique addition. As a special treat, a Solstice Luminary Walk will take place on Thursday, December 21st, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with complimentary luminary bags and story time in the gazebo.
Engage your creative side by participating in Luminary Classes on two Saturdays, December 9th and 16th, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in the Arboretum Classroom. Instructors from Imagine Children’s Museum will guide you in crafting your own luminary.

Wintertide Lights has been made possible through the generous support of the City of Everett, Snohomish County, Sunnyside Nursery and private donations, all contributing to the enthusiasm that fuels this remarkable event.
