Official Wintertide Kickoff Friday As Santa Lights Up Downtown Everett, Washington At 5:00 PM

Santa will light up downtown Everett at 5:00 PM November 24th in front of the Historic Everett Theater.

Santa will be arriving on a City of Everett Fire Truck about 4:45 PM this Friday November 24th in front of the Historic Everett Theatre in the 2900 block of Colby. At 5:00 PM Santa will throw the switch to turn on the Holiday lights up and down Colby Avenue along with the tree above Hewitt and Colby. We hear there may even be a little snow involved.

After the lighting Santa will go into the Historic Everett Theater to pose for pictures. Bring your phone for a “Selfie with Santa”.

The Wintertide celebration at the Historic Everett Theater actually starts earlier in the day on Friday and runs Saturday as well. Here’s the official schedule for activities at the Historic Everett Theater in downtown Everett.

Free Santa Photos: Catch a photo with Santa inside the Historic Everett Theatre. Santa will sit for photos on Friday, Nov. 24 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 25 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Bring your own camera/phone.

Cocoa and Cookies: Warm up in the company of your fellow revelers with hot cocoa and delicious holiday cookies.

Meet Dasher and Dancer: On Saturday, Nov. 25, don’t miss the chance to meet two live reindeer, Dasher and Dancer. They’ll be hanging out, resting up for their big day.

Live Holiday Music and Story Time at Historic Everett Theatre: The theater located at 2911 Colby will come alive with the joyous sounds of holiday-themed music, holiday movies and story time hosted by the Everett Public Library.

Parking
Be generous and save the street parking for those with limited mobility. Park in Everett’s FREE parking garage, Everpark. It’s smack-dab in the middle of all the action.

Saturday November 25th:
The Pacific Ice pop-up ice rink presented by Dwayne Lane’s Auto Family is returning to the Port of Everett’s Pacific Rim Plaza in Fisherman’s Harbor, just in front of Hotel Indigo’s Jetty Bar & Grille and steps from the Grand Avenue Park Bridge. The family-friendly program runs daily from Nov. 25, 2023 through Jan. 8, 2024.

At Pacific Ice, guests will enjoy a truly unique experience of skating on real ice at a covered rink overlooking the Port of Everett Marina. Holiday lights, music, select concessions and seasonal programming add to the whimsical atmosphere!
