One Arrested By EPD After Fatal Hit And Run On Evergreen Way

Everett Police booked the driver of a vehicle into the Snohomish County Jail early this morning on suspicion of hit and run death after a pedestrian was struck and killed in the 5000 block of Evergreen Way around 10:15 PM Wednesday night.

Right after the crash Everett Police located the suspect vehicle about 3 miles to the south and were able to take the driver into custody and impound the vehicle.

Evergreen Way was shut down for about two and a half hours near the QFC as detectives with Everett Police Traffic Safety Unit Investigated.

No word on the aged or identity of the victim at this time.
