Everett Firefighters Contain Blaze At Judd & Black Liquidation Center To Outbuilding

Editor’s Update 11/30/2022 8:00 AM:
Everett Fire released the following update today about this fire: Everett Fire investigators believe the fire was started by an unattended campfire in the adjoining shed to the main structure. There were no injuries. Firefighters contained the fire to the shed.

Initial Report 6:00 AM: Everett Fire crews were called to the Judd and Black Liquidation Center in the 2800 block of Maple in north Everett after drivers on I-5 reported smoke and flames coming from the building around 4:30 AM.

A Washington State Patrol Trooper reported he could see flames from the Trestle and when he arrived reported fire at the back of the building.

Everett firefighters were able to knock the fire down and contain it to an attached building, keeping the fire from extending inside.

At this time investigators are on scene working to determine a cause.
