Today people had a chance to take a peek inside the Historic Weyerhaeuser Building on the Everett Waterfront as work ramps up to turn the building into The Muse – a whiskey bar, coffee shop, meeting space for boating clubs and community gathering and event space.
Port officials, representatives from historic Everett and the lessees of the building, Jack and Jin Ng all spoke briefly before the building was opened to the public for a couple of hours.
In March it was announced that the building would be renovated and leased to the Ngs for a period of ten years. The Port will retain ownership of the building.
The building is expected to open on its 100th anniversary, March 23, 2023. Here are a few photos from today.
