Update: Everett Police Arrest Suspect In Monday’s Double Homicide

The suspect was brought to the police station to talk to detectives before being booked into jail.
Editor’s Update 9:30 PM: Everett Police have now booked a man in his 20’s into the Snohomish County Jail this evening on suspicion of two counts of Murder 2 and one count of Assault in the 1st Degree. The man is expected to make his first court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
Initial update 4:00 PM:

An Everett Police Detective Sergeant and member of the anti-crime team look over the truck the suspect was in.
Everett Police have detained a person of interest in yesterday’s shooting on Lexington Avenue where two people were killed and another injured.
Patrol officers spotted a vehicle with the suspect in north Everett near the 2600 block of Broadway this afternoon and assisted by members of EPD’s anti-crime team, took that man into custody.
He’s been transported to the Everett Police north precinct for an interview with detectives. We’ll provide more information as it becomes available.
