Again No Sounder Train From Everett To Seattle On Monday

Editor’s Update Monday night 11/15: Sound Transit has also cancelled Sounder train service for Tuesday from Everett to Seattle.

As they did on Friday, Sound Transit has decided to not run the Sounder Train between Everett and Seattle on Monday (11/15) over concerns there could be slides along the tracks. Here’s their statement issued Sunday afternoon.

N Line service is canceled for Monday, November 15 as a precautionary action due to the expected high level of rainfall in the forecast with the potential for landslide activity. Passengers are encouraged to take existing regular bus service as an alternative to N Line train service between Everett and Seattle.
