Work has began at the new off-leash area/dog park at Lowell Riverfront Park and is expected to be open in the spring of 2022. The new off-leash area will be inaccessible to the public during construction and as newly installed native grass establishes. The off-leash area at Lowell Park (4605 S 3rd Ave.) remains open to park-goers and their pups.

The dog park will be located along Lowell Riverfront Trail and includes design elements such as fencing, a concrete entryway with a self-closing gate, additional trees, a dog mitt station and a trash can. Learn more about the various park projects happening across the city here.
