Altercation Leads To Shooting On Airport Road In South Everett

Everett Police are investigating after a shooting on Airport Road in south Everett early Friday morning.

Shortly before 5 AM a vehicle pulled into the AM/PM at 112th and Evergreen Way and the driver reported their passenger had been shot.

Everett Police Spokesman Kerby Duncan tells MyEverettNews.com the victim was transported by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

He says the preliminary investigation indicates two people in the victim car got into an altercation of some kind at the 7-11 at Airport Road and Highway 99 with people in a second car.

Both vehicles headed north on Airport Road and shots were fired from the second vehicle into the first striking the passenger.

The victim vehicle pulled into the AM/PM and the suspect vehicle fled.

Patrol officers and detectives are investigating. Multiple shell casings were recovered on Airport Road.
