Fast Response By Everett Firefighters Keep Deck Fire From Spreading

Flames rise from the deck at this upper floor apartment.

Quick work by the first responding engine company kept a fire on a deck at a central Everett apartment from spreading and doing major damage.

Neighbors reported flames from a deck at an apartment building on 61st street SE shortly after 10 PM Wednesday night.

The fire was quickly contained and kept from doing major damage. No word yet on the cause.
