Everett Murder Victim’s Body Recovered in Skagit County

Everett Police Detectives traveled to Skagit County yesterday after receiving word from the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office that a body had been recovered off Highway 9 that may be related to a homicide Saturday on Madison street in Everett. Here’s more from a press update released late Tuesday afternoon.

Major Crimes detectives continue investigating the weekend homicide of a 67 year-old Mukilteo man in the 2100 block of Madison St. Based on information from a passerby, detectives went to Skagit County where they recovered the body of the victim. Cause and manner of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. The 40 year-old suspect remains in the Snohomish County Jail.
