There were no major injuries when this truck hit a car and then went into the ditch.

A wild scene Saturday morning near Madison and Broadway after a truck crashed into a car and ended up in the ditch. Three people in the truck ran off. Two passengers were contacted by Everett Police while the person driving the truck was not located. Everett Police impounded the truck as evidence.

About 20 minutes before the crash Everett Police were flagged down about a different truck that was left in an alley about a mile away from the crash scene. That truck was confirmed stolen and had been reported not only to police but also on social media with people apparently looking for it and the distinctive tires and wheels that had been on it when it was taken. After that truck was recovered, Everett Auto theft detectives served a search warrant at a house in that same neighborhood looking for stolen property.

The investigation is ongoing but Everett Police are looking into whether the truck that crashed is related to the stolen truck and property discovered in the neighborhood nearby.
