SWAT Team Santas Visit Boys And Girls Clubs In Everett And Lynnwood
This is the third year for the Region 1 SWAT Team Holiday gift delivery to local clubs.
On Wednesday, members of the Everett Police Officers Association invited kids to “Shop with a Cop” at the Target store on Everett Mall Way.
Today it was time for members of the Region 1 SWAT Team to deliver gifts to local kids.
The team stopped at Boys and Girls Clubs in Everett and Lynnwood dropping off gift bags and posing for photos. A few years ago the team was looking for ways to break down barriers and connect with the community in a positive light. They collected donations and decided to drop by community centers in full gear with creative touches to spread some Holiday cheer. Here are a few photos of the team at the Boys and Girls Club on Casino Road. Click photo to enlarge.
Motorists who passed the Bearcat on the road were surprised by this crew inside.
The truck was loaded with cops bearing gifts.
Kids got to come out and get a gift bag.
There was a line for High Fives!
No shelf for this elf.
