EFD Captain Stark is a Strike Team Leader with crews from @EverettFire, @LakeStevensFire, @Skagitfire3, Skagit County Fire District 14 and @SJIFire. Per the most recent CalFire report, this fire is over 75,000 acres and 15% contained with over 90,000 structures threatened. Weather predictions show NE wind gusts picking up this evening. Please keep all Firefighters and everyone impacted by these fires in your thoughts with wishes of good weather to aid in their firefighting tasks.
Firefighters from the Everett Fire Department joined others Monday as local strike teams were being sent to California to assist in battling wildfires. Here’s a note and photo from Everett Fire about the deployment.

Everett Firefighters are joing with other Snohomish County Departments in deploying to California.

Firefighters Stark, Adsero, Park, Glanville & Todd were mobilized in our Brush Engine as part of a SnoCo wildland team to California to assist with the fires they are battling. They will be checking in with Cal Fire North Operations to receive their fire assignments. They will be deployed for at least 10 days. Assignments have yet to be determined. We wish them safe travels and operations as they help our California neighbors. Updates will be posted as available.
