Power Outage Shuts Down Safeway At 75th And Evergreen Way

The outage was limited to a fairly small area.

A power outage just before six o’clock this morning sent smoke into the Safeway store at 7601 Evergreen Way and caused a temporary evacuation and closure of the store.

Crews from Snohomish PUD and Everett Fire worked on resolving the issue.

The were no injuries or actual fire and things were fixed in about an hour.
