Everett Police Asking For Arson Charges In Judd & Black Fire

Judd & Black dates back to 1940 while the building dates back to 1892.

A short press release today from the Everett Police Department about possible charges against a man in the fire at Judd & Black in Everett last year. Here is the release.

On September 21st, 2018 a large fire destroyed the Judd and Black appliance store at 3001 Hewitt Ave.

The Fire Investigator Team, made up of fire and police investigators, determined the fire was arson and intentionally started next to the building.

Detectives investigated and followed leads to identify a 19 year-old male suspect from Everett.

Charges of Arson 1st have been referred to the Snohomish County Prosecutors Office as the suspect is currently serving time in prison on an unrelated arson.

MyEverettNews.com is not naming the suspect as charges have yet to be filed.
