A reminder that it is time again for Sorticulture so this weekend Legion Park will not be available for normal use. Here’s more from the City of Everett.

Legion Memorial Park will be closed to regular park use June 6-9 for the Sorticulture Garden Arts Festival. Crews and vendors will begin setting up for the festival on June 6. The festival takes place June 7-9 and is free and open to the public.

More than 150 artists, plant nurseries, display gardens and vendors are participating in this year’s festival. A food court features savory bites and sweet treats, and live music and a wine garden add to the fun. Children’s activities include face painting, art projects and wood carving.

Parking is very limited. Attendees are encouraged to park at Everett Community College and take the free Everett Transit Sorticulture Shuttle to Legion Memorial Park. The shuttle runs frequently, starting at 9:30 a.m. daily. Guests may also ride their bike and park it at a secured valet bicycle corral staffed by Sharing Wheels. For more information about parking and the shuttle service, visit everettwa.gov/GettingThere.
