McClain Win Means $4000.00 In Backpacks For Everett School Kids

On Thursday night we asked if you could help McClain Insurance with a “like” and a comment as they were trying to win a grant from Safeco Insurance for $2000.00 to spend on backpacks for the Everett Public Schools Foundation. Here’s what Claudia McClain had to say after receiving official word of the victory this (Monday) A.M.

“We’re celebrating a big announcement this morning. Thanks to your help, we won the Safeco Insurance Change Agents Award and a $2,000 grant for the Everett Public Schools Foundation!

As part of our commitment to education, we’re matching Safeco’s grant. We’re thrilled EPSF will be the recipient of $4,000, which will be used to purchase backpacks and school supplies for more than 1,900 low-income students attending Everett Public Schools-WA.

This has been such a memorable experience for our team, our clients, and our agency friends across the country. We are truly grateful to Safeco for providing such an exciting and community-building activity, and we’re grateful for everyone who voted for us. We couldn’t have done it without your help!”
