Everett Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting

Everett Police officers checking the area where the gunshot victim was located this morning.

Everett Police Detectives are following up on a shooting this morning in south Everett. About 6:20 AM Snohomish 911 received a call of a gunshot victim at the Chevron Station at Olivia Park and Evergreen Way.

Everett Police patrol officers responded and located a man on the west side of the store who had been shot. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center.

Public information officer Aaron Snell with Everett Police tells MyEverettNews.com the man’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Snell says the shooting appears to be drug related and not a random act.

No suspect information was available as of this writing.
