Naval Station Everett will be conducting a security training exercise on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
The exercise will take place between 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
Blank rounds will be used as part of the simulated exercise scenario.
There will also be a heightened security presence at the base waterfront and in the harbor, loudspeaker alerts, and active emergency response vehicles.
Security training exercises such as this will continue on a regular basis over the next few months to maintain and improve emergency response the qualifications.
