Shortly before 5:30 this (Tuesday) morning Snohomish 911 received a call from a person claiming to have committed an act of violence on someone inside one of the tents in the 3600 block of Smith Street. That person threatened further violence against any responding Everett Police officers.

Due to the specific nature of the threat, multiple Everett Police patrol officers responded to the 3600 block of Smith Street and using loudspeakers ordered everyone out of the tents. Officers then did a safety check of all of the tents and made sure everyone was all right.

No problems were found and police left, letting the people carry on their regular routine.
