The good news is it happened after the official graduation ceremonies were done. Some Mylar balloons got loose in the area of Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett Saturay night and caused a power outage that affected nearly 1000 Snohomish PUD customers.

Among those affected were the Everett Aquasox. It was a short outage for the Frogs who are playing their second game of the season. PUD crews are working on a fix for the rest of the area.
