South Everett Store Clerk Slashed By Shoplifter – SCSO Asks Public’s Help

Editor’s Update March 27th 11:00AM: Yesterday deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office arrested the suspect at the Days Inn Motel on Everett Mall Way. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of 1st degree robbery and 1st degree assault. He is expected to make his first court appearance this afternoon at 1 PM.

Editor’s Update 3:38 PM: The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says they now have the identity of the person and are moving forward in the investigation.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office sent out a request today for the public’s help finding this guy.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a robbery this morning at approximately 7:50 a.m. in the 700 block of 128th St SE in Everett. An adult male suspect allegedly stole items from inside a convenience store. When the convenience store clerk confronted the suspect, there was an altercation and the suspect pulled out a knife and slashed the clerk.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. K9 responded to the scene and was unable to track the suspect. The victim was treated by aid for his injuries.

Detectives are asking those witnesses who were inside the store during the incident to please come forward to assist with the investigation.
