The Washington Blues Society and Lee Oskar Harmonicas present: For the Love of Music & Musicians:  A Musicians Relief Fund All-Star Benefit Concert.5 PM Sunday, February 18th at the Historic Everett Theater, Colby Ave Everett WA.

The concert’s all-star lineup features Multiple Blues Music Award Winner, Sugar Ray Rayford and world-renowned harmonica virtuoso, Lee Oskar.  

Also, on the bill are special guest Washington Blues Society Blues Hall of Fame members; Nick Vigarino, backed by Larry Dennis and Emmanuel del Casel, the classic duo of world harmonica champion Jim McLaughlin, and 2012 IBC champion Kevin Sutton as well as Hall of Fame Band Junkyard Jane, featuring Billy Stoops, Leanne Trevalyan, Pete Marzano, Barbara Blue and Jim King.  

 

An A-List band will back up a set by the astounding powerhouse blues showman Sugar Ray Rayford that includes: CD Woodbury on guitar, Patrick McDanel on bass, drummers Gordon Townsend and Rick J Bowen, and Jeffrey Morgan on Hammond B3. The stellar horn section of Ron Hendee on trumpet, and Mike Marinig on saxophone and the infamous Randy Oxford on trombone. The sizzling backupvocalists include Michele D’Amour McDanel, Christina Porter, and Sean McCrary.

Lee Oskar along with saxophonist Darian Asplund will perform the last set of the show leading the backing band on a set of his world music, jazz and soul inspired instrumentals.

In the tradition of past benefit shows this special line up will all gather on stage for a magical grand finale
