DUI Crackdown Planned For Super Bowl Sunday

Word in from Everett Police and the Snohomish County DUI and Target Zero Task Force that there will be increased patrols looking for impaired drivers before, during and after the Super Bowl game on Sunday.

The patrols will run between 2 PM and 10 PM.

 Representatives from Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, Lynnwood Police Department, Mukilteo Police Department, Edmonds Police Department and the Washington State Patrol will be conducting high visibility patrols throughout the county.

The patrols will coincide with Super Bowl festivities.  Police will be looking for drivers impaired by alcohol, marijuana and other legal and illegal substances.

The Sheriff’s Office will be tweeting during the emphasis from the Snohomish County Target Zero Twitter account, @SnoCoTargetZero. Updates will be provided via twitter as they are available.
