Everett Schools

Had a reader pass along some good news about an event at Everett High School over the weekend…

Most news we see is not all that good, but Saturday Everett had a win in positive news.

Everett High school hosted about 30+ high schools in a wrestling meet. The Everett coaches started preparing the night before by hosting the Japaneses National Team.

The coaches and volunteers arrived arrived at 6:30 Saturday morning to finish setting up.

The meet finished around 11:30PM that day after over 1000 matches played. The commitment of our high schools coaching staff is ‘total commitment’ to the sport and all the high schools that visited.

As it turned out, a Everett High school student Thomas Trautmann took first place in his JV weight class. Thomas has only been wrestling a few months – GREAT COACHING!

The team has a Facebook page ‘Everett Wrestling’

Kudos to Everett High School and their coaching staff!
