After a long winter break kids are back in school and busses are on the road and you need to look out for both.
Shortly after eight o’clock this morning a driver slammed into the back of a school bus picking up kids in the 7200 block of Beverly Boulevard in Everett.
There were 3 students and the bus driver on board the bus.
Both the bus driver and one child were taken by ambulance to the hospital to be checked out as a precaution.
At the time of the crash the bus driver was strapping the child into a seat belt which are standard on the smaller busses used to transport students in Everett.
The other two students were taken by school district staff to their final stop.
Everett Police are investigating.
