Police Say Woman Wanted In Everett Murder – Update: Is Now In Custody

Editor’s Update 4:55 PM: Everett Police report the woman is now in custody.

Everett Police are looking for the public’s help in finding a woman they say is involved in a murder last month in Everett. Here’s a release put out this morning.
Just after midnight on October 17th, officers responded to the 1600 block of 22nd St on the report of a robbery with a weapon and shots being fired inside an apartment. Arriving officers found one deceased male and the second with a gunshot wound. The deceased male, 54 year-old Darren D. Larson of Everett, had been shot in the back.

Detectives were told a male suspect entered the residence and demanded money and drugs. As he fled, Darren Larson was shot. Two people have been arrested in conjunction with this incident.

At this time, Major Crimes detectives have established probable cause to arrest 27 year-old Laura Johnson of Marysville for murder. Detectives are also attempting to locate an outstanding 1995 dark green or black Toyota Camry – WA plate BFY3865.
