Passing along this update from VOA…
Alison most recently worked in marketing and inside sales for engineering firms CH2M and HDR Engineering and as a project coordinator for Sound Transit. About her choice to move into the not-forprofit human services industry, she states, “I stepped aside from the for-profit environment to work in the front lines of the challenges facing our communities.”
Lori Drabant, Executive Vice President of Development said, “Alison’s combination of nonprofit and business savvy make her a strong asset for a such a community-driven program as Hunger Prevention.” With the holiday season and winter fast approaching, Alison expects to be busy with food and fund drives to support the estimated 4,000 families expected to pass through the agency’s food banks in November and December. Volunteer support is needed to assist with the food receiving, sorting, and delivery and interested individuals or groups are encouraged to apply online or donate online at www.voaww.org.
