MyEverettNews.com Adds Subscription Plan

A message from Leland Dart, publisher of MyEverettNews.com…

support With the recent cost of recovering from a cyber attack, an increase in our office rent, the rising cost of gas to chase fire engines and other expenses the day is finally here to ask readers to subscribe. Just this week we’ve had more than 18,000 users and 35,000 page views but no new reader support.

We’ve stayed away from drop down and takeover ads and our sponsors have been wonderful but the fact is it costs a good amount of money to provide the coverage we do so, the time has come.

We are offering three different subscription plans.

For one day…$1.00

For one month…$5.00

For one year…$10.00

I am confident no one offers you the stories and photos that MyEverettNews.com provides. Many of our stories are picked up by The Herald, Seattle TV stations and dozens of local websites. If MyEverettNews.com didn’t mention it first many outlets wouldn’t cover it.

There is however a cost to gather and provide this information and while we have tried fundraisers over the past years the same few people are participating while thousands of others take the information for free and do not contribute and that is just not fair.

To subscribe click here or follow the pop-up window.

For those who are already subscribing via regular mail or have recently donated, contact me at 425-280-7620 or email news@myeverettnews.com and I can convert your donation to a subscription.

Thanks to all of your for reading and I hope you will understand that gathering news in the manner in which we do has a cost that we can no longer bear without your support.

Best,

Leland Dart – Publisher MyEverettNews.com
