Great people, great food, great music, great fun. For the past 24 years the Nubian Jam at Everett’s Forest Park has provided this and much more. The setup is complete for the 25th Anniversary edition and the party is getting underway. Here’s more information about the event from the Nubian Jam Website

The Nubian Jam Festival is a celebration of African and African-American culture. This free, family-oriented, educational event will be filled with music, inspiration, food, crafts, and entertainment. Our purpose is to promote unity and fellowship. We strive to honor our elders and to encourage positive self-awareness for our youth. The Nubian Jam is designed to increase cross-cultural understanding and promote a healthy, safe and culturally vibrant community throughout Snohomish County.

The party is free and runs until seven o’clock tonight. Bring the family and enjoy the fun. Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos of the set up this morning.
