Naming Rights Up For Downtown Everett Arena

July 19, 2017

Downtown Everett, Everett

arena name

Naming rights are available if the price is right.

First it was the Everett Events Center, then Comcast Area which was updated to Xfinity Arena at Everett. Next year could it be Funko Center, Scuttlebutt Place or Uber Pavillion, maybe Amazon Prime Palace?

After 10 years the naming rights are up for grabs again as the Everett Public Facilities District prepares to accept proposals for naming sponsorship of the 8000+ seat venue in downtown Everett, Washington. Currently Xfinity has been paying three hundred thousand dollars a year in cash with another 150 thousand dollars in advertising and other benefits to the Everett PFD.

Board chair Gary Weikel tells MyEverettNews.com there has been some interest shown but would not reveal who they have been talking with. The formal bid process will start soon so if you have a spare $500k a year or so to put down for the next decade you could end up with your name in lights in downtown Everett.
