There’s a new way to stay updated with the City of Everett.

The City of Everett is launching a new monthly electronic newsletter on Wednesday, March 8.

“Our goal is to use a variety of tools and communication methods to let our community members know about what the City is doing and how they can get involved,” said Meghan Pembroke, communications director. “The monthly newsletter provides another opportunity for community members to get information about City projects and activities, as well as upcoming events.”

The newsletter, which will be sent through the City’s website, will highlight current City news and major projects and initiatives. The newsletter will also feature upcoming City-sponsored events that the public is invited to attend. In addition to text, the newsletter will allow subscribers to watch embedded videos and view photographs.

“The newsletter is another way we hope to inform and engage the community, in addition to our social media channels, Everett Channel, the website, and other platforms,” said Pembroke.

The newsletter will be delivered directly to the inboxes of subscribers who sign up through the City website to receive email notifications: everettwa.gov/notifyme.
