water pipeline

The construction project should be finished in October.

We had a couple of inquiries about the construction cranes in the area of E. Marine View Drive and 19th street. Trees have been removed from the north side of the street and huge pipes are staged across the street from Jackson Park. Clair Olivers with Everett Public Works tells MyEverettNews.com this work is part of the Tulalip Water Pipeline Project.

This is the final segment of the Tulalip Water Pipeline. This segment extends from the west side of East Marine View Drive just north of the I-5 ramp generally north across the BNSF Delta Yard and up Riverside Drive in the Port’s Riverside Business Park to a connection to the Snohomish River crossing near the SR 529 bridges. Two trenchless portions of the work were started in April and are nearing completion.

The pipeline will provide a long-term supply of water to Tulalip in support of tribal water supply needs, a reliable supply to Smith Island in the City of Everett and possible stream flow augmentation.

The project is expected to be completed in October.
